Tim Butzen, MLIS 

Chief Operating Officer & Owner 

Tim oversees the Doody’s publication portfolio and provides strategic direction for technological and editorial innovation, in addition to working with the Doody’s team to accomplish the company’s day-to-day publishing operations. One of his favorite projects to work on is the Doody’s Special Topics Lists, which bring together librarians from all types of institutions to create high-impact interdisciplinary book lists. Brandon Danial 
Editorial Operations Specialist 

Brandon provides a balance of editorial and operational responsibilities to Doody Enterprises. He ensures all books that come through our doors are organized, cataloged, and shipped out to each of Doody's expert reviewers. Along with his in-house operations, Brandon edits content across the company’s websites, including DCDM, DCT, and DRS. Brandon enjoys the depth of knowledge afforded to him by the wide variety of books that make their way to Doody’s. He has been with the company since December 2021. Melissa Kansa 
Director, Editorial and Production 

Melissa manages the production of Doody’s publications across diverse formats, including newsletters and websites. Additionally, she collaborates with our editorial team to uphold product standards. She enjoys working on Doody’s Collection Development Monthly, which provides her with valuable insights into the industry. She has been with the company since September 2012. Clare Konner, BSN, RN 
Special Projects Editor  

As part of Doody’s editorial team, Clare utilizes her journalism and nursing backgrounds to lead the annual production of Doody’s Core Titles and its ongoing quality and process improvement. Her favorite part of DCT is collaborating with the medical librarians and healthcare professionals who contribute their expertise to the list, while getting a firsthand look at books making the greatest impact on the health sciences. Brad Rysz, MBA 
Sales Director 

Brad forges impactful connections between Doody Enterprises and valued participating publishers in the areas of promotions and licensing. Brad works with publishers to determine which advertising and licensing opportunities can best fit their unique goals and objectives while also meeting their budgetary guidelines. Caitlin Szontagh 
Advertising Manager 

Caitlin serves as the primary contact for advertisers, consistently relaying advertising requirements and deadlines to guarantee prompt asset delivery. She is responsible for coordinating and producing all external promotions, ensuring partners achieve maximum satisfaction with prompt and satifactory previews.  She has been with Doody’s since December 2021.
